Shimano Experience build-up has started

The Shimano Experience for cyclists, anglers and rowers, will soon open its doors at a former brewery site in Valkenburg. The Shimano Experience Center will give visitors the opportunity to share their passion for cycling, fishing and rowing, and experience products Shimano offers in these three areas.

Each sport will be presented in a Sensory experience, in which visitors are encouraged to move, feel and experience the ultimate Shimano moment. Visitors will also have a unique opportunity to see, feel and test the latest products and technologies from Shimano, with virtual reality displays from the world's most iconic sports venues, In addition, outdoor test routes and fishing opportunities will be offered in and around the beautiful Limburg countryside.

Within the Social experience the emphasis will be on interactive screens, a Shimano café, demo workshops and an experience area reflecting the Shimano heritage.

The Product experience will apply to three sport moments: 'Riding the Moment', 'Reeling the Moment' and 'Rowing the Moment'. Unique possibilities will be offered to let Shimano fans try the latest technologies in fun, challenging and safe situations with a range of test options.

After months of preparation in the Hypsos workshops, in January the build-up on location has started, to the designs of Futurebrand Uxus. The official opening of the Shimano Experience Center in Valkenburg is planned for Friday 12th of April 2019.

Hypsos is responsible for the supply and installation of the complete experience fit out including interactive exhibits, furniture, graphics, signage, lighting and AV hardware integration.
